MELAAN 5
This part of the Cultural Centre was built in the 1950s, together with the Art School, by the architects Beeck, Roose and Lauwers. The Music School adjacent to the buildings was built later on, in the same austere style. What was unusual for the time was the complete absence of figurative elements.
